Who is eligible for ielts

Having a good command over English language can be a huge benefit when you're studying or working in an English speaking country where majority of the colleges, universities and educational institutions prefer English language as a medium of communication. Understanding the language will go a long way in helping you pursue your higher studies successfully. However for each time that one takes the test, they will have to register and make the payment every time. Candidates must be proficient in the English language in all aspects such as reading, writing, listening and speaking.

IELTS can be attempted by any candidate worldwide regardless of their nationality, gender, race, religion or age. There is no upper age limit to appear in the test. However, it is not recommended to be taken by any person under the age of 16 years at the time of the test. IELTS tests can also be taken by candidates with some special requirements. Students under the special requirement criteria are allowed to take the test under fair opportunities for everyone who wants to study abroad and pursue a career.
