Having a good command over English language can be a huge benefit when you're studying or working in an English speaking country where majority of the colleges, universities and educational institutions prefer English language as a medium of communication. However, it is not recommended to be taken by any person under the age of 16 years at the time of the test. IELTS tests can also be taken by candidates with some special requirements.
