What if naruto joins the akatsuki

Kakashi sensei had told him to get some sleep but he was too restless and confused. He felt sad, but even more so, he felt angry. Naruto stepped out of the house to get some fresh air, he wandered around the village for a while, it was dead silent that late into the night. He went to the Final Valley where he had last seen his friend Sasuke. His friends from Team 10 had been killed by Kakuzu and Hidan.

As he was about to leave, he heard a massive bang in the distance. A group of bodies flew towards him. A man is a swirly mask, and six men with orange hair all of whom had the same face but different physiques. Before he knew it, one of the men had pinned him up against the wall. It was almost like the man was an illusion. Immediately, the six similar looking men pinned Naruto to the ground. Countless thoughts went through his mind. He wanted to become Hokage, not turn against the village.

Naruto felt dizzy, he felt like he was fainting. Suddenly he felt all his senses again, he felt, small? He looked at his hands, he was a kid again. He was in the village marketplace. Naturally confused, he wandered around this place from his past. He went to the shop and picked up the mask to look at it.

Out of nowhere, the owner pushed him out of the store. Here take it and get out! Before he could say anything, he felt dizzy and fell out of consciousness again. When he woke up again, he was at the academy. Kids around him were going home, school was over, supposedly.

He was starving, he wanted to eat but had no money. He came across an apple stand. How could the village ignore him if he stole their food? He grabbed an apple and made a run for it.

The owner chased him, but Naruto was faster, he looked back to taunt the owner, but slipped off a roof and fell down. The owner caught up to him and gave him a beating. Every person there was staring at him, giving him that look. The look he despised, the look of disgust and hate. Before he could act on it, he woke up. He was back at Final Valley. Naruto was trying to catch his breath. Naruto was sick of these illusions.

Now he was sitting at a table, a delicious feast resting on it. He turned around, to face Kushina, his mother. From across the room his dad appeared. He looked at both of them, confused.

He cried. He was happy, so happy. As Naruto was about to reach out for it, he returned to reality. If Konoha was okay with using a trapped form of the Kyuubi, there would seem to be no reason for them to treat the last of the Uchiha the same way. It is even possible that the village read, Danzo would have fanned Sasuke's hatred against Itachi. This way, Danzo could have kept the truth about Itachi under covers, while having an ace Uchiha up his sleeve literally. However, with Naruto having deserted the village and joining Akatsuki, he might have used Sasuke to finish him off, and maybe even let Sasuke take care of Itachi while at it.

If that would've had been the case, it is possible that Danzo would have made Sasuke as strong as he could maybe even awaken his Mangekyo somehow. In this case, the battle between an unstable Naruto and an Uchiha trained under Danzo would definitely have ended with the former being dead. However, it is possible that Itachi might have stopped this somehow, by using Kotoamatsukami on Naruto and letting Sasuke kill him, thus fulfilling his purpose.

Either way, if Naruto had turned against Konoha, it would have been an age of turmoil and endless bloodshed, and world peace would have been a fleeting dream. New User posted their first comment.
