Where is holliday unit

This facility serves as an offender intake and processing facility that conducts substance abuse screenings and various other assessments, that will eventually determine the inmates rehabilitation needs and which facility they will be permanently housed at.

Holliday Unit is comprised of eleven buildings. Offenders can be housed in one of the 36 open dormitories, in a single cell housing unit, in one of the 22 multiple occupancy cells, or in one of the fifty segregation cells that exist at Holliday Unit.

Holliday Transfer Facility provides substance abuse education, life skills courses, support groups, and religious based studies to all offenders who choose to participate. Medical treatment, mental health services, dental care, literacy courses, adult basic education classes, and the ability to earn a GED is provided to all inmates.

Holliday Unit works in cooperation with Wynne Unit employing inmates in agricultural operations that include farming edible crops, an egg laying operation, swine finishing, pest control, and caring for security canines and horses.
